GEOCAD-93 was founded in January of 1993. Diplom Engineer Zlatan Zlatanov is the principle owner and President of the company. GEOCAD-93 provides wide variety of services in the area of geomatics engineering including land surveying, photogrammetry, creation and maintenance of digital models of towns, villages and rural areas, Geographic Information Systems, etc.

GEOCAD-93 provides engineering services to more than 150 civil engineering design and construction companies operating in the territory of the capitol city Sofia and the entire country. Independent marketing research indicates that the company’s share of the geomatics engineering services for the city of Sofia stands at about 40%.

GEOCAD-93 uses state of the art hardware and software for digitizing and scanning cartographic documents and aerial photo images. The company utilises Deltascan-470 Auto photogrammetric scanner. The parameters of the scanner are as follows: scan resolution – 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 32, 64 and 128 microns with root mean square error of ±3 µm; maximal scanning area 320x470mm. Also, the company uses Photomod, a digital photogrammetric workstation, for processing photogrammeric data.
